January marked a strong start to the year at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence (AMTCE), with a focus on cybersecurity skills, collaboration, and community engagement.

Hack the Isles – CyberSpark Ireland Bootcamp

AMTCE was proud to host the CyberSpark Ireland Bootcamp on 16–17 January, welcoming students, educators and cyber professionals for two intensive days of immersive, hands-on cybersecurity training as part of the wider Hack the Isles programme.

Participants engaged in live cyber environments, responding to simulated attacks and developing practical skills in threat detection, digital defence and incident response. The bootcamp moved quickly from onboarding into high-impact, applied activity, offering real-world exposure to the tools, processes and pressures that define modern cybersecurity roles.

Thank you to Cyberspark Ireland and everyone who took part in making the event such a success.

Network Ireland Louth Event at AMTCE

AMTCE was delighted to host a Network Ireland Louth event, welcoming a room filled with female founders, business leaders and professionals focused on growth and collaboration.

The event fostered strong conversations, meaningful connections and a powerful sense of community.

Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the AMTCE facility, with insights into robotics training and course opportunities shared by Jean Kennedy.
