The Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence (AMTCE) was delighted to welcome Enterprise Ireland’s newly formed Business Expansion team for an insightful visit. This visit provided an opportunity to showcase AMTCE’s cutting-edge training services, which are designed to help companies upskill and reskill their workforce as they plan for strategic growth. Training in the AMTCE is 100% subsidised for eligible employees through Skills to Advance funding.

AMTCE Director Gerard Smith delivered a presentation highlighting the extensive range of training opportunities available to businesses. With industry-leading courses in advanced manufacturing, automation and digital transformation, AMTCE plays a critical role in equipping companies with the skills needed to remain competitive in an evolving market.

During the visit, the Enterprise Ireland team also had the opportunity to experience the Smart Factory in action. This hands-on demonstration provided valuable insight into the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and their practical applications in industry.
