AMTCE Hosts Portuguese Trade Delegation
The visit, organised by Enterprise Ireland in conjunction with the Portuguese Embassy in Ireland, was part of a territorial benchmarking programme supported by the European Union. It gave the delegates an opportunity to view best practice in terms of territorial development strategies in a similar region to their own.
AMTCE spotlights robotic trends for Industry 4.0
Representatives from over 50 companies in the Republic and Northern Ireland, operating in pharma, medical devices, food processing, construction, engineering, steel fabrication and industrial automation, were at the Robotics for Industry 4.0 Workshop and Expo on Wed 22nd June 2022 at AMTCE.
AMTCE hosts a visit by LEO Cavan
On Thursday 16 June 2022, AMTCE welcomed a visit by client companies of the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Cavan. The representatives were accompanied by LEO Cavan’s Head of Enterprise Marcella Rudden, Senior Enterprise Development Officer Andrea Corrigan, Ray Murphy, Regional Skills Manager, North-East Region and Business Mentors Pat McKeown and Brian Murray.
Signing of International Memorandum of Understanding
On 24th May 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between AMTCE’s founding body, the Louth Meath Education & Training Board, the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh, Catalyst Connection and the Portview Trade Centre in Belfast.
AMTCE hosts Advanced Manufacturing Schools Awards
On 20th May 2022, the AMTCE hosted the awards for LMETB’s Advanced Manufacturing Schools Project, and the overall winner was St. Oliver’s Community College in Drogheda. The Guest of Honour was Mr Damien English TD, Minister for State for Business, Employment and Retail, who presented the students with their award.
