Promoting Apprenticeships at the KCETB Careers in Apprenticeship Expo

On the 6th of March, the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence (AMTCE) took part in the KCETB Careers in Apprenticeship Expo, held at the Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny. This event brought together over 1,000 learners, educators and industry leaders to highlight the value of apprenticeships across multiple industries.

Apprenticeships continue to play a key role in bridging the gap between education and employment, offering participants the chance to gain hands-on industry experience while earning. The event served as a platform to showcase the wide range of apprenticeship programmes available and the real-world benefits they provide to learners and employers alike.

 

Throughout the day, the AMTCE team engaged with students, jobseekers, and employers, offering insights into the wide range of apprenticeship training available. From robotics and welding to advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies, attendees learned how apprenticeships at AMTCE are helping to shape the future of Ireland’s workforce.
