June was another busy and impactful month at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence (AMTCE), as we continued to bring together industry partners, innovators and learners to advance the future of manufacturing and construction in Ireland.
The Launch of the All-Island Industry 4.0 Future Skills Report at the AMTCE

We were honoured to welcome Marian Harkin TD, Minister of State for Further Education at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science (DFHERIS) and Dr Caoimhe Archibald, MLA, Minister for the Economy of Northern Ireland and leading figures from across the manufacturing sector for the launch of the 2025 All-Island Industry 4.0 Future Skills Report.
The event underscored the urgent need for coordinated action to close the growing skills gaps in advanced manufacturing, with collaboration between industry, education, and government central to future success.

We also hosted members of MMC Ireland for an engaging event focused on accelerating the adoption of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in Ireland.
The event brought together voices from across construction, technology, and training to explore how innovation, upskilling, and industry collaboration can drive greater sustainability and efficiency in the sector.
Visit from the Department of Economy Northern Ireland Careers Advisors to the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence

We were delighted to welcome the Department of Economy Northern Ireland Careers Advisors to the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence.
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our cutting-edge facilities and the innovative training programmes we offer. The visit highlighted the strong partnership between AMTCE and the NI Careers Service, in supporting an all-age range of people to explore exciting career pathways in advanced manufacturing and construction.
