We were delighted to connect with learners and employers across careers outreach and hands-on training in December.

O’Fiaich College Careers Day

AMTCE had a fantastic day at the O’Fiaich College Careers Day, showcasing a cobot (collaborative robot) and a mini automation station. It was inspiring to meet so many enthusiastic learners exploring future career paths in automation and advanced manufacturing.

We were particularly encouraged by the strong interest in our upcoming Robotics and Automation Apprenticeship and the Utilising Robotics in Advanced Manufacturing micro-credential. It was exciting to see the next generation so engaged with the future of technology and industry.

Geometrical Tolerancing and Design Training with Croom Medical

We were delighted to host a week of training with the team from Croom Medical on the Geometrical Tolerancing and Design course, delivered in partnership with Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR).

It was fantastic to see a company truly investing in their people — with 12 team members taking part. The participation and enthusiasm in the room was outstanding, and we were very impressed with the group’s commitment to learning throughout the week.

This training supports capability building in Irish manufacturing and helps teams apply practical skills directly to their workplace.
