The AMTCE team attended this year’s National Apprenticeship Expo 2025 in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim. This national event brought together learners, educators and industry leaders to explore the exciting career pathways made possible through apprenticeships. With thousands in attendance, the Expo served as a vital platform to showcase the benefits of earn-and-learn models and the real-world impact of skills-based education.
The AMTCE team was on hand to meet with attendees and share information about the apprenticeship pathways available through our state-of-the-art training centre. AMTCE is committed to supporting learners at all stages of their career journey, offering practical training aligned with industry needs.

One of the attendees the team engaged with was Nina Carberry (MEP), who had the opportunity to try one of our AR/VR welding simulators. This hands-on technology is an innovative solution in industry, enabling professionals to complete projects in a safe, controlled and highly interactive environment. Virtual welding is just one of the many advanced training opportunities offered at AMTCE, supporting skill development in areas such as robotic welding, CNC machining and smart manufacturing systems.
Events like the Apprenticeship Expo are an important part of our mission to connect talent with opportunity and demonstrate the value of practical, hands-on training in Ireland’s evolving industries.
